Where it all started

In 1940 our family started working with telephones, then moved to answering services in the 1960's. As a family company, we are always working together to better our services that we are able to provide to our clients. Together we have over 60 years of experience and dedication to our customers. We have and always will put our clients first and get most of our continued business through referrals. We hold each and every client at our highest regard and want you to feel like part of our family! We truly feel that every call counts.

Debbie graduated from Fordham University and has been working in the industry for over 50 years. She has four children, Bernadette, Christopher, Alex and Kevin and the newest member of her crew, her granddaughter Charleigh. She has managed an answering service over 39 years and reached her goals by starting AB Universal Messaging 15 years ago. She has created a great service for her customers and wonderful work atmosphere for her employees. The world of technology is ever moving and changing and that is why it is so important to be part of different answering associations. Debbie continually broadens by participating in ATSI, ASTAA, WSTA, ATSI and TUNe conferences and training. She is the past president for the equipment user group TUNe and the was the VP and trustee of ATSI's education fund. Her vision for her clients and staff is success and quality in all aspects of her business.

On her downtime, Debbie enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, Charleigh Siobhan, family time with her children, nieces and nephews. Debbie is the matriarch of her family unit and business and will always be the foundation that has kept the family and business thriving for all these years.


Chris has been working in the industry over 20 years. A former student of Stevens University, he has a vast knowledge of telecommunication equipment and is responsible for making sure everything runs and operates smoothly at AB Universal Messaging. If there is a problem, he will solve it, or find a way to get it resolved! AB Universal Messaging flourishes and continues to thrive because of him in all aspects of technology. Chris is the link between agents, clients and all our newest and up to date technology.

In his free time he enjoys working out, bike riding, cooking, traveling, motorcycling and gaming.

General Manager

Erin has been with AB Universal for over 15 years and oversees all the day to day operations of the business, clients, staff and management team. Being in the industry for over 20 years, Erin has played an intricate role in molding and helping the business succeed over the last 15 years. Erin is a graduate of Georgian Court University with a BA in Psychology, which ironically comes in handy in this industry. She has a long list of management experience and has acquired several training certificates over the years and a plethora of experience in the mental health field. Erin has always had a passion for helping people, which has been instilled in her since a young age.

Erin, a coffee aficionado, enjoys cooking, baking, biking, beach drives, dancing, listening to music, an occasional rap battle and spending time with her three beautiful daughters, husband, family and friends. Erin feels most proud of the reputation she has built throughout the years and the bond that she has with her long-standing clients and potential new clients. Erin feels that her management team is the best it has even been and is excited for what the future holds for ABU. She enjoys this industry because everyday it is something new and challenging that can come her way. She is a problem solver and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find it. Tina has been in the answering service industry for 21 years. She enjoys all aspects of her job and handles all challenges that come her way with perseverance and integrity. She enjoys meeting with new clients and enjoys an occasional challenge that she is able to tackle head on and work through with our clients that need more of a custom account. Tina is our main scripter here at AB Universal Messaging and has quite a talent for scripting accounts to offer our clients a more diverse experience.

When not working she enjoys spending time with her two children and her grandson. She also loves to cook and has a true talent for making custom themed cakes and desserts.


Tracy has worked in the answering service industry for 34 years and loves it because she loves talking with the offices we answer for. Prior to coming on with AB, Tracy ran an answering service for over 10 years. Tracy is always learning new things about the system to improve the quality of services we provide to our clients and has an excellent rapport with new and old clients as well as the staff.

Tracy is a proud mother of three beautiful children and one amazing grandchild. Tracy loves the owner and coworkers and it is not just a job, it is a family and never a dull moment. She enjoys going to the beach, watching football and having a good time with friends and family. As Tracy's mother always said, "Life is too short enjoy every moment".


Christine loves working with her AB Universal family. Christine, a graduate of Trenton State with a business degree and having managed her own business for over 25 years, Christine knows what it takes to keep a business running smoothly. She enjoys speaking with the offices we answer for and helping the patients calling into those offices. She also enjoys speaking with all the different clients for the lawyers and plumbers and electrical professionals we speak with on a daily basis. Christine plays a vital role in our continuous training process with new operators and their stats and is always willing to help where needed.

When Christine is off the clock, she loves spending time with family including her husband of over 30 years, Eddie, her Mom and golden doodle, Abby. She also enjoys a good "cookie jam" battle and spending time with her nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.


Jill may be new to the Answering Service Industry, having been with us since 2020, but by no means new to the Customer Service and Call Center Industries. She has over 28 years experience combined and is COPC certified through her last role as a Quality Assurance and Reporting Manager. Jill use these skills on a daily basis here at AB Universal to coach our operators to be the best they can be. Jill loves the team that she works with here, from the owner to her co-managers as well as all of our fantastic operators.

While Jill is not handling most of the AB onboarding, training and supervising, she enjoys spending time with her two sons at the beach, jet skiing or just enjoying a nice night by the fire pit.


Evelyn joined AB Universal in 2019 and has been a tremendous leader with employees and clients. Though a new comer to the answering service industry, she has extensive customer service experience and her problem solving techniques are impeccable. Evelyn worked in retail/management for over 17 years prior to joining our team. Ensuring client and caller satisfaction comes quite naturally to her and she takes great pride in her work and ethics.

Evelyn enjoys the fast pace of the answering service business. No two days are the same, and there is always something new to learn. She loves working with the owner and management team and all of our wonderful operators as well. Evelyn plays a vital role in the day to day operations and is always willing to help out. 

When Evelyn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves traveling, fine dining, impromptu trips to Atlantic City for a good concert/show and exploring new places


Julia has been in the answering service industry since 2000 and with AB Universal since 2021. A wonderful and newest addition to our team, Julia has an amazing relationship with our clients and staff, as well as a fine attention to detail when it comes to onboarding clients and staff. She is a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a BA in Sociology and a Masters in counseling which has come in handy in this industry.

When she is not working, Julia enjoys spending time with her family. Julia also enjoys a good cup of coffee and a good book.

Overflow Services
We know how difficult it can be to staff your office during these times. Again we are an extension of your office based on your needs, when you are short staffed or large increases of volume including last minute help that is needed.
